    Oasis in Wenatchee
We spent a little over an hour touring the gardens as a stop on a weekend trip to Leavenworth. I'm so glad we made this stop! I hadn't heard of the Ohme Gardens before, but the Ohmes created them beginning in 1929. They really crafted a beautiful oasis on the side of a hill in Wenatchee. There are various different water features. The Sylvan Pool was my favorite. This was a peaceful, shaded area with a rock pool where one could sit and while away the hours. It is absolutely amazing that so much of the gardens were built by hand with limited modern machinery. It was clearly a labor of love and great that it's open to the public to tour.

    Enjoyable time here!
Fun family adventure walking through the maze of beautifully manicured natural grounds exploring and finding waterfalls and pools, taking in the views and just enjoying time stretching your legs outside in a pretty area. The trails were all stone slab pieces which everyone really liked. Staff there are super nice and pleasant too!
