Worth Every Penny...
This attraction was made for your young daughter. Horseback riding right on the shore. Very gentle and docile horses made for a lifetime memory for my young gals. Rides are an hour long for 20 bucks and--think about it--you could blow that much with three go-cart rides in less than 20 minutes. All the wranglers are proficient, alert, and very safety conscious. We're in day three of our Spring Break, and I'm sure that we will cave in to our little gals, and they will be on those horses tomorrow. And the day after... :)

Okay..
We were the first riders of the season, so maybe that was why things weren't very smooth.. Paid and were assigned horses within two minutes, but we had to wait nearly 40 for the owner to arrive with the waivers before we could go. Understandable from a liability standpoint, but still ridiculous that they say they open at 10:00 and the owner didn't even arrive until noon. The horses themselves were quite dirty and grumpy, presumably because they haven't been on the beach for months and weren't looking forward to going back to work, but it made them quite difficult to ride. We both have quite a bit of experience with horses yet had a lot of trouble getting them to do as told - they should definitely have been taken out for practice rides a few times before opening up to the public. For now I recommend checking out the other horses on the beach and skipping the ones that sit near Shilo Inn until later in the season.

There was much poo
This looks fun and is reasonably affordable. Only thing I find nasty with this is all the poop the horses leave behind and no one seems to clean it up.
