The most fun I've had in ages!
My sister surprised my husband and I with tickets for Christmas. This was his and my first escape room. I do not think that young children would find success in these without adult supervision, being that they require some intense problem-solving under pressure (70 minutes). My advice for those looking to do one is have a 3-person group minimum. There was 1 task we had to do that we almost couldn't due to the lack of hands. But it worked out! We won with 23 seconds to spare! Haley was our supervisor (I hope I spelled her name correctly) of Theradonia. She did an amazing job and I believe her presence is what made our experience more fun and enjoyable. She was not only passionate about the mythology, but gave perfectly helpful hints during the process. Her cheerful attitude towards the experience of an escape room brings out the best in its customers. I believe that that is the second most important part of its fantasy, next to the story itself. The set is also believable, as to not feel misplaced in such a fantastical story. The decorum, props, and musical audio presents the setting accurately. When you enter you not only feel like you're participating in an escape room, but also temporarily escaping reality in and of itself. 5/5 ♡

Great fun!
We had a lot of fun visiting Escape Hour. We did the Mayan Ruins, and although we were unable to complete the challenge, we had a great time! We had 4 adults, and one ten year old, and even she loved it, and was able to fully participate and help solve the puzzles. Our host, Adam, was awesome! He did an amazing job of helping point us in the right direction when we got stuck, without giving too much away. We will definitely be back.
