Great park for kids with skateboards, bikes or a field to play soccer, baseball etc
Hiked from our hotel (Fairbridge Inn and Suites) to Enchantment Park and let the kids burn some energy in the big grassy field by racing them from soccer goal to soccer goal. It was very nice to have some a wide open space to play. The bike area was very busy and the baseball field was being used by a father/son practicing hitting. Was very pleasant.

A Refreshing Get-Away from the Touristy Hulabaloo
I love this park. I used to come to Leavenworth frequently for business, and this park was always my go-to place for a quick trail run. It's just as delightful in the winter, and there's a variety of hills for sledding - smaller ones for the timid, steep ones for the near-reckless. The addition of the pump track and the skate park make this an even greater resource. Please heed the warnings about wildlife. This is their home, too. I've run here in the morning twilight and never seen anything more aggressive than a squirrel, but that's the time of day you're most likely to see predators. If you're here at dusk, be on high alert; if you encounter a bear or a cougar, take the threat seriously & don't be an idiot.
