We loved our visit!

We felt the parking was tight but we got a spot after turning back and trying again after seeing several cars leave. This beach was awesome. We walked in it during low tide so we were able to see a ton of sand dollars, shells, and rocks. It was great. We had great views of Mt. Rainier too. It was our favorite beach we visited.

    Great off leash dog experience
We took our labrador down here at low tide, what an amazing place. Wide open space, off leash for all but small area for picnic tables. Dogs and kids playing in the water, very calm with no real waves so everone safe. Easy to get to, limited parking fills up but on street spots close by.

Great place to bring your dog!
My family was here during the 4th of July weekend and the beach is a perfect place for our black lab. It was very, very low tide (some boats were beached) so we needed to walk pretty far out to get to the water. Of course, we had to play fetch in the water with our dog (she loved it!). Lots of sandy beach to play with your dog, splash in the water, or build sand castles. They have two porta-potties at the park entrance and also a water tower/shower for rinsing off. The parking lot has very few spots, so you'll probably need to park along the side of the road.
