Cushman Trail, Washington, United States

4.5 (105 reviews) Spent Ranking #2 in Gig Harbor Biking Trails

Bike Trail

This trail is nicely paved and has enough hills to mix it up a bit! There are park benches for walkers and runners to stop and enjoy a quick rest or stretch. It has a painted center line to help keep traffic moving safely. Erin Goodwill, Gig Harbor

Great for walks and bike rides
Gig Harborites love having the Cushman trail for walking/running/bike riding. It has a few big hills, but is an excellent trail for working out or just getting some fresh air. I have used it dozens of times without incident, but I would caution you if you park at one of the trailheads, that they tend to be targets for people who smash and grab items from the cars. I wouldn't leave anything of value in my car, and certainly wouldn't leave anything in plain sight

    Enjoyable Trail
Great local paved trail. I have explored both on foot and by bike and it is a welcome traffic free way of dissecting Gig Harbor on a dedicated well marked, well laid out trail. The hills will surprise a little. I have enjoyed walking them but confess I had to climb off my bike a couple of times as the gradient was too much. The trail is ridden by people of all ages and they seem to manage the hills fine. The gradient is undulating rather than long drawn out climbs.
