GORGEOUS BEACH!
This area is gorgeous. It is peaceful and well maintained. We went to Cottonwood to go metal detecting and the water was so high that it was impossible. I would recommend families bring a wagon filled with a picnic lunch and bring some toys for the kids. You cannot drive your car into Cottonwood Beach, so bring the wagon, put your kids in it, put your food in it and your liquor, and come have a good time! If the water is down, you may even be able to sit on the beach! Enjoy!

Cooler
As summer heats up... the coolness of the forest and the beach of the Columbia river are hard to beat. Just be careful, and remember the toilets are usually a long way away.
