Independence Day Bike Ride
Paved walk/bike trail, with equestrian lanes on the side. It's a pretty easy bike-ride, although the long, gradual upgrades can be tiring if you ride the whole 30-miles each way. For a Saturday morning on 4th of July weekend the trail wasn't awfully crowded, people were polite and friendly, and there was plenty of parking available at the trail start, by Nakashima Barn. Nakashima Barn is the historic site of the Nakashima family dairy farm. During WWII, in 1942, the family was forced to sell and sent to a relocation camp. A Saturday Farmer's Market was being held in Arlington, at a city park on the trail.

Walking around
So, I just started on a walking thing since it’s gotten nicer outside and since we’ve sheltered in place. Walks are a good way to just see other folks/strangers while still staying a safe distance. Been walking Centennial Trail in all directions and going about 2 miles/day. I love this walk because you can end up in downtown Snohomish (shoot...can’t stop at the bakery though for a snack) or you can walk forever in a wooded area with an occasional bicyclist going by. It’s a great walk since it’s easy for young to old. Do it!!

A wonderful stroll through the countryside.
This is a great paved trail following the old railroad line. Currently one can go from downtown Snohomish north past Arlington. There are plans to expand even further north. Limited parking access in some areas but good in others. Quiet and fun for all. Try and stop at the great dock on Lake Cassidy if nearby.
