Two trails in one
Beautiful scenery- the city side has green lawns, parks, restrooms and sculptures. The east side is dry desert natural. The loop ride can be extended by riding to Lincoln Rock State Park to the north past orchards and beautiful views of the river and bluffs.

One of the Wonders of the World
The Loop trail to me is almost the next wonder of the World! If you enjoy biking, walking or running you can not find a better place to do it. I take my dog for a 4-5 mile walk/run every day on the Loop. There are numerous parking spots around the Loop to access different spots so you never get bored with the same spots. You can choose isolated to dead downtown almost. The Horgan wildlife area is my favorite walk. No bicycles to dodge and no buildings in sight or cars to hear. The PUD who developed and maintains the trails should be commended for a spectacular job and addition to this community.
