The Wat Thai Dhammaram is a Buddhist centre located in Waterloo. It is a Thai temple set in a private house with a large garden. The best day to visit is on Sunday, but the centre is open everyday. The resident monk is called Luangpo Wisuddh. He is often accompanied with two or three monks from Thailand or from Belgium. Prayers are made in this temple and meditation is practiced. The traditional Buddhist holidays are also celebrated. Most Westerners drop by on Sunday or with Thai people they know and who are used to come to the centre. If you don't know anyone who can accompany you, I suggest you to call them before you arrive, at least to make sure they are there!

Thai Buddhist temple and monthly market
great temple, very friendly monks and peaceful temple. They put on a number of activities like meditation some evenings a week and also there is a first in the month Thai market in their huge garden.
