It only costs you time to visit. If you're religious or into old architecture, it's definitely worth a quick stop. Inside the church you'll find many memorial plaques from the Battle of Waterloo that were salvaged.

Historic Interest
I'm not greatly into architecture or church's. I looked into this one based on its links to the Battle of Waterloo but I could see how it would appeal to people with architectural or ecclesiastical interest. I didn't stay long but if you are in the area it's worth a look but I would not visit the area just for this.

A very average church and a very average monument.
The eglise St Joseph is a church that was built behind a Napoleonic monument, giving it its special feature, and that eye catching (but just a little) greek temple style entrance. If you have any reason to stop in Waterloo town (and manage to find a parking spot), why not give it a look...
