It's not a fair review because I grew up in the next town, and to me it's just beautiful. I am a little bias because I grew up in Belgium. My fiancé who had never been there loved it and it was very romantic to walk the grounds with her.

Absolutely beautiful!
Gorgeous castle and park, I was disappointed that we could not look around inside but there is plenty to look at outside. A perfect place for a picnic, walk, or just a lovely afternoon.

Beautiful park, picturesque castle, horrible road access
The park of the Château de La Hulpe is probably my favourite attraction in the region, you can easily spend the afternoon enjoying the park's quietness and observing the great variety of trees. There's also the Fondation Folon you can visit and a café where to stop to rest and have a nice Belgian beer. The only downside of the visit will be the road to access the Fondation Folon parking, it's a disgrace...
