A great place to meet and wander

Stephansplatz, right in front of St. Stephen’s church is a great place to wander and explore. And because of its central location, it’s also a great place to meet as a group should you decide to wander off on your own. There are always street performers and hawkers and of course, it’s full of tourist. Still, it’s fun to wander around and explore, do a little shopping or simply take a coffee and people watch!

    The very heart of Vienna
You can really get a feel for the city by sitting in Stephansplatz and just taking everything in. Early morning it is bustling with all the services and tradesman bringing supplies etc into the city. By 11 am they have all left and you can see the square and the cathedral without interruption. Lots of bustle and the very heart of this beautiful city.
