This is a very small museum packed full of interesting stuff. Our hostess (tour guide?) greeted us at the front door & gave us about 15 minutes worth of wonderful local history, general information on citrus worldwide, & information specific to citrus grown in the copyrighted Indian River Citrus area. Then, we were free to wander the remainder of the displays. The layout was simple - just a rectangular room with a center display area - but the displays were such that it didn't feel cramped or overstuffed. We learned a great deal about the area, & were impressed with our guide's knowledge & enthusiasm. There is no admission fee, but there is a donation jar on the "gift shop" counter, & they have various items of interest for sale. (We bought postcards & marmalade!)See more..
