Great experience, kids love it! Food options should improve
We went from Dec. 28 to Jan 3. The unit we stayed in was in excellent conditions. I love it!! It was at Nordland building. We did our booking directly with Smugglers Notch. I requested a quiet place but near the village and they chose the best place for us. Activities for the kids were great and the place is kept in good shape. Tubing is amazing and included in your package as well as WIFI and some areas of the fun zone. I did a sled activity was also fun. Mini snowmobile activity quite expensive for only 15 minutes but my kids enjoy it. The only thing they should improve are the food options, they’re on the expensive side and average quality. Service was great and people were friendly. Had a great time and will recommend it to friends.

Short lines + slow lifts is more mountain time than long lines + fast lifts
To all the people who complain about the slow lifts: you are missing the point. Smuggs more than offsets their slow lifts by having very short lines. So any slow lifts are more than made up by not having to wait in line. The trade off is skiers/boarders wait on the lift as they chat and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Compare that to waiting 20 minutes in line at Stowe or Killington, and then zooming up the mountain. In the end, Smuggs' skiers get as much or more time carving in the snow than at any other mountain.
