Ghost town in summer
Branas alpine ski resort has 29 runs, 20 lifts (including a gondola) as well as a drop of 415 meters. This drop is also the 10th largest vertical drop in Sweden. Branas ski resort is family friendly and offers great quality skiing.

Ghost town in summer
Well... in the summer everything is closed and the place feels like a ghost town. So i would not recommend it in summer. Luckely we are only staying 2 days... because most fun activities are approx 45-80 min. drives. We wanted to go up the mountain with the lift.. but I think it does not work in summer We had a nice cottage that felt a little bit out dated but it was ok.

Money machine
I feel dirty every time I come here but not sure if there’s a better alternative in Sweden. One side of the mountain is impassable to moderate skiers due to the planning of the slope and the other way overcrowded. It took days to get in touch with the company when making a booking - simply not enough people answering the telephones. It’s a massive business that treats customers like s%#t because it can get away with it. Go to the Alps.
