An excellent choice for a day trip from Santiago
What a special place this is ! There is a bit of a wait to get in but you are waiting with the Pacific breathing behind you, a truly magic by itself. The house tells the story of a poet and a genius, showing his life behind his writings. It also houses a whimsical collection of all that was dear to him. The gardens are beautiful and the view is spectacular. Definitely a place not to be missed. PS - please make sure to stop at the cafe. The cuisine is good, wine is excellent and the views of the Pacific are majestic.

Spend More Time Outside Enjoying The Pacific Views
Unless you are a huge Pablo Neruda fan, enjoy the outdoor views. Some of the museum is interesting, but the sea is so beautiful, it draws one to it. I could write beautiful poetry from those vistas as well! Take time to enjoy the Pacific!
