Nice little station

The station is nice, well served with restaurants and bars. Even a small market. The only problem I had is to find someone working there that actually can give train information, but that didn't affect how nice the station is. For new passengers: your ticket will show which wagon (couch) number is yours and since the train will stop there for few minutes, it will be better if you can locate where your wagon is going to stop to be just in from of it and board the train faster. On every lane there is a board hanging from the ceiling at the platform. That sign will indicate where your couch number is going to be and give you a reference letter (A, B, C, D....). You just need to find the platform zone with that letter. Btw...the overnight train trip is a blast, specially if you have kids. Have fun.

    Easy to change trains when going to the airport or from airport to Helsinki
    Lots of palces to eat and a well stuffed grocery store is also available. Also fast food available. There is also HSL store where one can easily buy a day or week tickets. Only minus is that there are NO luggage storage available !

    Getting better
    I would like to revise my old review because I don't think it is fair anymore. The escalators work more often these days, and now that the old tunnel under the tracks is open also, I can't call it worse than the old station that had only that tunnel. The attached little mall has grown, too, and now has some pretty good restaurants. I don't know why this is called an "attraction", though, as it isn't. It's a combined railway station and bus station. I mostly use it for changing from the airport train to a local bus.
