Under renovation
The same yellow brick architecture can be seen around the elegant church at Louhela train station by Juha Leiviskä from 1984. Though it is now closed it can be admired from outside, the walls form lines of glass, wood and brick. Next to it is a bold message posted for Easter - Dare to live. And die.

Beautiful church
Myyrmäki Church is a Lutheran church in the Myyrmäki neighborhood next to the Louhela commuter train station. The church was opened in 1984. It has interesting architecture and is also known as the Church of Light. Especially the interior is beautiful with the impressive organ and the windows next to it giving a special light changing during the day.
