Great overview of Fazer, fun guide and chocolates
Experience Fazer in a new way – using all your senses Fazer has been providing visitor activities for over 60 years. The new centre allows us to provide you with a more memorable and educational visiting experience than ever before. Fazer guides lead visitors through the exhibition. The tour takes approximately one hour. The exhibition presents Fazer’s operations, long history, stories, wide product assortment, sustainability and innovations. It offers experiences for all the senses. At the exhibition, you can look, listen, taste, smell and try. In connection with the exhibition tour, you can make purchases at our unique Fazer Experience Shop and enjoy taste sensations at the Fazer Cafe.

Great location for kids’ bdays
We chose this place for our kid’s 10th bday. Good program and all you can eat chocolate and candy buffet! Recommending!

For chocolate lovers everywhere!
If you're like me and have a sweet tooth then you will probably arrive home from your holiday with a suitcase full of edible souveneirs. And if you come to Finland then the likelihood is that somewhere in your stash will be a bar of Fazer Blue chocolate, a Geisha bar or Dumle. But how great would it be to actually watch while your treats are made, eat as much of them you like without paying and then buy your take home stash at a vastly reduced price? Well, now you can! The Cloetta Fazer factory in Vantaa is open for free, yes FREE tours! I was lucky enough to go as part of my language course here in Finland and it was probably the best hour and a half of my life. (Sorry to my darling man, but unfortunately you cannot compete with the chocolate:) On arrival you will be greeted by a friendly tour guide who will then take you for a walk around the entire factory showing you the chocolate production process and explaining the history of the company. This is all very interesting of course but what we really want is the free goodies right? You will not be disappointed on that score because set up in the factory are big tasting stations where full sized bars of all the Fazer range of sweeties and chocolate are on offer for you to try. You may eat as much as you like but the rule is you can't take it with you so I suggest doing as I did. Stand there as long as possible stubbornly refusing to move while stuffing your face with everything you can lay your hands to. I can assure you from experience that the gastrointestinal assault that follows is well worth it:) At the end of your tour you will be given a free goodie bag (mine contained: A loaf of the newest Fazer rye bread, full sized bars of Geisha, Fazer Blue, Fazerina, a bag of some boiled type sweets and some chocolate covered fruit and nuts....very generous). On the way out there is also a large factory shop where you can stock up for later and the prices here are much lower than in the shops. The factory itself is quite far out of Helsinki but if you take the train to Tikkurila from the main railway station and then the 61 bus towards Vaarala it's quite easy to find. (Or you could just go to Tikkurila and then take a taxi). All in all it's something well worth seeing and particularly great if you have children. A chocolate lovers paradise!
