A brilliant zoo
A brilliant zoo with really well thought out experiences for visitors but also the animals. A lot of the animals have an alternative route through the enclosure which is great for the kids and usually with a slide at the end. Probably the best zoo we’ve ever been to in Europe.

Thrilling experience
We went to the zoo on the 1st of January as it was one of the very few attractions that were open. It was a thrilling experience! It is a beautiful zoo which is kept in an outstanding condition. It almost doesn't feel like you're at the zoo as it does not create the impression of caged animals in the least. It has extraordinary animals such as tigers, camels, zebras, red pandas, bears and elephants. It has a great little shop and a wonderful restaurant. It was a very cold day so most of the little food stalls were closed but the restaurant had a lovely fireplace which kept us all warm. I would definitely recommend a visit and you can take your dog along if you want too. It has great attractions for kids with a wonderful play area. It can get very busy so get there early.

Fantastic day out.
A great day out for family and friends, excellent interactive zoo for children. The zoo is very clean with excellent facilities, also great locations to eat and drink. Great wheelchair acces as well.
