It was really fantastic!

I visited this place with my husband during our 3 days stay in Lithuania. It is so worth visiting! The excursion was really interesting and had a good total idea. The whole museum is made with love and care. Unfortunately, they don't accept credit cards! You have to pay cash. Beautiful views! Thanks a lot! :)

the only such museum on the globe - not only for space fanats
Astonishing from outside (especially on the sundown of a sunny day), impressive and entertaining inside. Space (and in part astronomy) history in a popular way. Beautiful surroundings - many lakes between forest, excellent view from museum's glass top. In case of deeper interest it's good idea to visit Astronomical Observatory placed close to museum right after (and continue during the night stars-seeing program)

    Serenic top view
This is a Lithuanian sky observatory and ethnocosmology museum. Though I expected to observe the sky myself- I didn't have the chance. Daily four sessions of trips inside. A guide talks you through the history of cosmology- dated back from 1000BC till date. You will see an alien inside, too :P The host inside explained everything in Lithuanian, wasn't helpful ot me, but my wife translated for me. At the end there was a video clip, downloaded from YouTube showing the universe. The interesting part was the top view- around 197 steps high- we had a very nice view. We could see up to 20 KM- as they hose said. They have a garden with colourful flowers and a lake. Also some Stonehenge sort of monuments representing the solar system.
