Such a stunning and majestic cathedral
One of the most beautiful cathedrals I have every seen. Majestic, with a lot of the original 13th century decor in place. Recommend going to Upplands Museum first, as it shows the history of this cathedral, making your experience a lot more meaningful. It is also calm and peaceful. There is a tresoury museum in the tower, but did not get a chance to see it as it was closed for Easter. Check more information in the souvenier shop.

Beautiful Nordic church with a lot of history
One of the main attractions of Uppsala is also the tallest church in the Nordic countries. The towers were added and reconstructed due to fire much later than the original part of the church. Originally built as a Catholic Cathedral, the church has long been the primary location of the Church of Sweden. With several different constructions and additions, the style of the church is primarily Gothic but a few different styles blend together to create what you see today. It is not quite as ornate and opulent as so many of the large cathedrals of the center of Europe but it is still a beautiful site worth some time to visit.

Amazing Cathedral
Very nice walk from the hotel and central train station. Easy to walk through and great displays of tombs. A tour group also sang while they were there. The rings on the ground for opening the tombs in the floor you had to watch for tripping hazard . Disappointed that the MUSEUM GUSTAVIANUM where they performed autopsy was closed.
