Tranquility!
Offensee is a very quiet and remote, very beautiful lake. Easy to stroll along and many things to discover for adults and kids. An easy walk, espcially with kids, elderly and great for dogs, too.

And beautiful lake ...take some time to visit this area and breath fresh mountain air! Plenty of parking ...ice skating in the winter (I have done it many times myself)...one can also rent a horse sled...there is also a restaurant (Jausen Station) where one can refresh with drinks and food

Good place for a walk
It a good place to take a walk or bike (trekking or mountain bike) on gravel paths around lake. There is a nice view on mountains and a lot of rest areas with wooden benches. When the air temperature is high It is possible to swim in the lake :) Close to this place is a free car parking with toilets. Everyone who want to spend time on the lake should consider also a visit on Langbathsee on the second site of Ebensee.
