Nice lake above marmore waterfall
I've been there with a bunch of friends during our trip of Central Italy. It's very close to the Marmore waterfall and is very quiet and calm. The weather was pretty hot but under the trees in the path around the lake, we managed to relax and enjoy the sunny day.

Beautiful Lake Experience
We have lived in central Umbria for a number of years and have spent very little time in the area around Terni. This year we had to travel there for our COVID vaccinations (4 separate trips!). Each time we tried to visit somewhere in the area we had not seen before. So this last Saturday, after my jab, we did the 20 minute drive to Lago di Piediluco. It really is a beautiful lake. There are a lot of things you can do there including hanging out on small beaches, kayaking, canoeing , etc. The town itself is quite small but worth a stroll, especially along the lake. We had lunch at Ristorante ECO which was very good. One thing to keep in mind is that there is parking at both ends of the town. The parking lot on the east side has lots of spots and is free. I wouldn't try parking in the center. This is a cute place to have lunch and relax!

Small but totally charming
This small but charming lake boasts beautiful surroundings and several small villages not far from it. We especially enjoyed the eating places .. right on the edge of the lake waters and the local salmon trout.
