Unforgettable experience - baby sloath appearance
Definitely a must see and not too far from the plaza de armas. My friend and I did the boat tour, we were taken to 3 didn't places along the lake. The first was Caserío 11 de Agosto, where they had a baby sloath and let us hold Lupita for 2 soles. She was sweet and softer! There were artisanal items for purchase all handmade. Our next stop was a mini zoo in the jungle, followed by a trip to see a large hotel made out of wood being constructed. In total we were out there for 2 hours for 40 soles

Great Boat ride.
Don't miss this. There is a great Eco Lodge with a pool and a restaurant on the lake. The food is really good. the pool is clean and nice!!! The kids will love this place. They have a small zoo with a big anaconda and Crocodiles.

Beautiful spot. Good place to take a boat ride across the lagoon. Good street food and market available. The animal preserve is interesting but a bit expensive and overated.
