Interesting mangroves with abundant birdlife

We visited this sanctuary in late October. We went on an organised tour with an agency from Tumbes, as we felt the logistic would be easier this way and we are glad we did. We saw a great variety of birds including magnificent frigate birds, Peruvian pelicans, little blue herons, cocoi herons, yellow-crowned night-herons, white ibises, ringed and green kingfishers, whimbrels and snowy egrets. We also saw various species of crabs, fish, shrimps and black shell clams. The visit was by motorless boat, which being silent allowed to see the birds up close. This sanctuary is much less visited than nearby Puerto Pizarro and as such is much more interesting for birdwatchers and nature lovers.

Amazing
Perfect for the nature lovers, love this place , this place offer a wonderful view , I can observe birds , crocodiles , in the huesos island I got fresh food and really good .
