Wonderful alpine lake to visit with kids
This is a beautiful alpine lake with incredible mountain views. It is perfect for those days when you want a pretty location but cannot/do not want to hike. There is parking beside the lake (pricey but handy, we paid 7 euro for they day, I believe the hourly rate is 2 euro) and you can simply go to the lake side or restaurant or take the path that circles the lake. I recommend you do take the path! It is easy, stroller friendly and it has nice info panels to learn about the lake and its animals. Perfect destination for a day out with kids

Definitely worth a visit!
This lake is less famous, but has nothing to envy the well-known Braies lake. The Dobbiaco lake has a wonderful clear water and there's an easy (flat) circular walk around the lake that will take you through the forest, the river and some beautiful small beaches. You will appreciate the amazing diversity of its flora and fauna (birds!). On the lake you will also find a bar, a restaurant and a camping.

Beautiful small lake with easy flat path
It is a beautiful small lake that one can finish walking in an hour. The path is flat and easy to walk. Water is very clear. We walked only half way - the way towards the mountains and the view is very romantic. We turned back after we got to the midway because it was getting too hot for my dog and the other side seems to have less shade. Not a must but beautiful enough if you are at the area and have time. The next lake, Lago di Landro, down the road, in my opinion, has more spectacular view and definitely worth stopping.
