Lovely Lake

This is a nice lake to visit in Val de Fassa. At this time of year the lake is not at its best as the water level is low,however you can still see the colours of the trees reflected in the water. There is an easy 15 minute walk around the lake. Parking can be difficult to find,very cheap €1 per hour.There are shops and a couple of restaurants here also.

    Awesome mountain lake
    This is a magnificent lake at Carezza. There is a nearby parking (1€/hr fee) or, better, you can walk from Kareer pass down to the area. The lake is a real jewel but beware it gets supercrowded, so I suggest to be there early in the morning or late in the afternoon. In around 20 minutes you can also access the upper lake, less nice but worth a visit, and definitely less crowded. If you are in good shape, a trail leads you below the Latemar mountains.
