Great skiing destination
Great place to go skiing, the slopes are really nice and restaurants are delicious, with very good prices. Skipass, ski trainers, restaurants, services all have great prices. In contrast, hotels are very expensive - avoid Centrul de Echitatie in Poiana Brasov, we stayed there (for 130 EUR/night) and it was a total disaster. In rest all was good.

So good for austerity budget
Poiana Brasov is very good place for skiing and snowboarding. There are enough elevators and gandols. PB has got some black, red and blue skiing tracks. We found freeride, but it's works when there are much snowing. I recommend this place for economing your budget as compared with other popular Austria and Italy resorts.

We have been skiing for 4 days in Poiana Brasov, and we have greatly enjoyed . All the ski sloops were well kept and the access easy and not very expensive . There are choices for every level of competence and every pocket as well . To rent a skiing kit is affordable if you don’t have one . All preaty good the scenery beautiful and nice friendly people. Now the downside is something I can see it across all places I have been in Romania, we’re very proud with our Romanian food make sense as every nation is wit their own , but not any foreign tourist appreciate it.Some they want something they can recognise it and fill safe while eating like most of the yang British! And for that the chefs need to be knowledgable and more educated in international cuisine. And the Romanian food even is made without passion and desire to bring it to another level more vibrant and full of flavours. If is made to test and look like does at home what’s the point to pay a fortune at the restaurant!!! It shows once more that we’re far away from what’s happened in the rest of the world and we’re seating and ask ourself why only Russians visits our resorts the eternal “mioritic “ conundrum ! (Plangem la capul minoritei pana moare ! Nu facem nimic sa o salvam !) 5 stars for the place 2 stars for the service !
