A real surprise
Wow. We were NOT expecting this. A small but wonderfully curated museum kept out attention with their great displays and charming pieces. Not sure I have seen such a small museum so well curated with art pieces, variety and interesting corners. The books on the upper floor kept us fascinated for a good 30 minutes. Gift shop tiny and original (even if the records were way too expensive even for a vinyl addict like me) . 5 stars. A must see

Good museum display, albeit petit
A great window to a long foregone era. Visitors have glimpse of the fluvial navigation that gave luster and wealth to the now sleepy river town. Three rooms condensing the most important aspects of the former economy of the Columbian heartland. Museum building is neat and well maintained, but the nearby riverside walk is dodgy and with rubbish.. caution is recommended if you want to stroll by after museum visit...

Interesting place to learn abot Magdalena's river histoy!
The museum is small but very interesting. The display is a good way to show visitors the river histoy . Is organized an cute. The employees are welcoming, but some of them need more training in order to provide the visitors acute information aboy the river and the histoy around it.
