Very nice tour

My wife and I really enjoyed our tour of arboretum and small museum (about 1 hour). The local tour guide did a great job describing all the plants/trees they have and answering questions. He spoke good English. It was great to see such a wide variety of plants from area. They had lots of displays of the birds and animals in the area. You also go into a small museum where you can see artifacts from local tribes and bones, skeletons and fossils from wildlife in the area. Tips: Arboretum is outside so bring and hat/sunscreen It was very warm when we were there so bring some water Restaurant is very good also

A superb introduction to the plants of the spiny bush
A guided walk around the arboretum took about two hours, but was worthy of half a day if time permits. The guide was very knowledgeable about the plants, and showed us lizards, chameleons, nocturnal lemurs and bats in the garden. A very well designed arboretum. A thrill to see all these strange, rare plants collected together. Delightful.

Ok if you haven't seen any unusual fauna yet,A very good restaurant
If you have not seen Madagascar's unusual fauna this place is interesting but I was here at the end of my 4 week stay, I went as it was recommended.... Yes it's Ok but the food in the restaurant was the best thing..... delicious fish with a delicate sauce, especially the macaroons.
