Fun place to explore
This is definitely a fun place to visit! Take a scooter (or a quad- you can rent them from your hotel), and it's about a 2 hr drive. The roads are bumpy, so make sure the scooter, brakes, and lights are working. Upon arriving, there are some guides who will give you the prices (10,000 for a visit to the pools and 30,000 for the pools and a visit to the tip of the island). I did the hike to the tip of the island, and it was great! Lots of gorgeous views, and the hike takes you past some farms and over some hills facing the sea- it was beautiful! The hike takes about 2 hours though. The pools were great- a bit cold but clear and refreshing. There are several places to eat and I was bombarded by individuals from different restaurants upon arrival. The food was good though! Parking is 2000/Ar.

Great Beach All to Yourself
We went North of the Island and got there with a scooter, great ride. Once we were there, we hired a guide (as per advice of our hotel owner) as it's the regulation for safety reasons there, you must hire a guide there for very little money: A) it is a must, no choice for safety reasons of the tidal changes and rough undertow of the rough waves there in some pools and B) you help the community. It was beautiful but you can only swim in one pool, the rest are rough waters. Please practice caution and make sure to hire a guide, if you're not a comfortable swimmer please don't swim there, and I am a very comfortable swimmer.
