Abandoned Water Park - a good trip for 1-2 hours

It’s pretty easy to get to here. We were met by three individuals (who we thought were ‘security’) who asked for 20k dong, which we paid. After being at the dragon slide for like 5 minutes we heard a whistle, which turned out to be ‘actual security’. He first told us 40k each, but before we could answer he just told us to go (even though other people arrived and we informed him we paid already). So we took out bikes back to the entrance, waited a couple minutes then walked back around without seeing him again. It’s deffo worth the trip as it’s different to usual site-seeing and quite interesting. Just be wary & prepared to pay 40k dong as it isn’t 20k anymore, unless you can avoid security ;)

This is how to get in . . .
Great hidden gem for some fantastic photos. Only thing is, it's hard to get into as they have 'security' on the front gate that tell you that you cannot go in due to health and safety. Before you get to the gate, there is a dirt track on the left, & there will be a woman there asking you to pay to park (don't pay her, just park a little further down the road!). If you walk down the dirt track (and the trees) & make a right it will lead you straight to the dragon slide. If you use google maps it's easy to find. We got there easy enough & the security guard said no, until I said we only wanted to take pictures & wouldn't be long he said we could stay if we paid him 20,000VND each (0.86USD), we only have 10,000VND in cash which he settled for so maybe don't carry too much with you so you can 'give all you have'. We stayed there for around 40 minutes. Had a good wander round. There was loads of other tourists that came the same way as us so it's obviously not 'off limits'. Just be polite & understanding & 'security' are happy to let you stay with no trouble.

Thủy Tiên Lake Abandoned Park is about 9km from the Hue city center about 30 mins drive by motorbike. It is on the way with Khải Định tomb. So you can spend half and half day for 2 attractive places.
