A nice and fun insight into the Hellenic culture
We had a very nice experience looking at all the books that were on display. At the end, the museum's guide presented us different types of spinning tops and how to spin them, which was really fun. We also learned about the formation of Meteora and about the monks's net/elevator from Meteora.

Great introduction to the greek education, language, culture and history of Kalambaka
If you are in Kalambaka you should definitely pay a visit to this little museum. Take a free guided tour in English or Greek with a friendly and knowledgeable staff to get a better context and ask a lot of questions! We even learned how to write our names in the Greek alphabet. I can imagine that this museum is also a lot of fun for children, as well as for grownups. Highly recommended!
