Exhibit Worthy of the Big Country
Minimalist masterpieces in the most amazing setting. Truly 4-dimensional art: the work is an expression of its form, the observers’s place, the natural surrounding, the time of day, and day of year, and some day (one imagines, hopes?) year of century. You’ve likely never seen or thought about light, shadows, angle, form, and placement in relation to “the other” in the same way.

Artfully Inspired
We found the experience inspired. Donald Judd’s vision is present throughout the various exhibitions. We chose the self-guided tour which was serene and reflective. Walking amongst the various installations was a journey of discovery.

Curiously fascinating
An art installation by Donald Judd on an old Army base complete with tumbleweeds, aluminum and concrete cubes, fluorescent light installations and Army architecture. It’s utterly fascinating, as is Donald Judd’s cult of personality. They actually have WWJDD? bumper tickets.
