Lovely Courthouse
Came to town to try Blacks BBQ (which was great) and decided to check out the square; to our surprise the farmers market was setup on the west side of the courthouse. We walked the square and enjoyed the views of the Courthouse. Our courthouse in Bonham Tx has recently been brought back to 1800 era and looks very similar.

Inspiring!
Most beautiful courthouse in Texas. The whole town square was open and vibrant with plenty to do and eat, even during Covid. Everyone was nice, waved, very friendly (and, yes, they ALL had on masks, which was a nice change from crowded Austin.

Intriguing Design
On Tuesday, June 15, 2021, as we were walking the Lockhart town square we were surprised we could walk in the building to view the interior. The welcoming guard directed us to the various floors. The court and council meeting room was vintage with skilled wood work. Many rooms are offices. Green space around the court house is well maintained. Just seeing the outside design features is impressive.
