Small museum. Quality exhibits

We have visited several times throughout the years. The curator always brings in good exhibits and the volunteers will take you on a tour or let you look at things yourself. You can tell everybody is proud to be a part of something so important for Arlington culture.

    Pretty good for Arlington
Here's the deal. You cannot go to a small museum such as this one and expect it to have the exhibiting power of the DMA or Kimbell. Those museums have millions poured into them in order to make them great (and they are awesome, you should go). But what Arlington offers is a quaint and accessible location for enjoyable art. So maybe it doesn't have any world famos pieces... anyone who truly appreciates art will have a good time. (Plus, we showed up and there was this great book fair going on. I got like 10 books for $6! Bonus!!)

Small art museum in Arlington, Texas
There is 2 hour free street parking in the area. There are also parking lots (I do not know if you must pay to use them). After paying the nominal admission (I paid $5), you may visit the 3 floors of exhibits. There are a limited number of pieces on exhibit and most them are by Albrecht Durer. There was also a film running about Durer on the second floor. There is a small gift shop. It is a way to kill an hour or so if you are in the neighborhood, but I would not recommend a special visit.
