Must Watch a Movie in the MXC Theater
The MXC theater is an awesome experience. The sound is incredible and the push button reclining (lazy boy) seats are very comfortable. Another feature that I enjoyed was the room between the foot of the reclined seat and the next row of seats; even with the seat reclined another person can walk past you without you having to move your foot rest. My family watched Star Wars in December 2015 and I vowed to never use another local theater again.

Costly and nice
Superb chairs, very good sound, good screen. That chairs have electric reclining motors. They are very comfortable. The theater uses assigned seating. You can purchase your tickets in advance if you choose to. This all comes with a price. They are probably the most expensive seats locally available to watch a movie. If you buy your tickets ahead of time, on line or via phone, there is yet another charge. Nice but you pay for it.

Would be 5 stars if not for one thing...
This theater is AMAZING, stadium recliners everywhere, food, drink galore, beautiful GIANT screen on the MXC for 3-D extravaganzas like Star Wars... I love everything about this place, including the "reserved seating" policy, except for the gawd-awful check-in process in the lobby. I was so mad about this the other day that I would have given the theater TWO stars despite everything else being perfect. Here's the deal...you walk in and there are six kiosks for you to get your tickets from. If you're lucky there will be ONE human being also giving out tickets. So far, every time I've been to this theater when there are popular movies going on, at least 2 of the kiosks are non-functional (out of paper, etc). The lines for the other 4 are insane, and if you get behind someone who is not technologically savvy they will dither and fiddle around and take up to 5 minutes to either get their tickets or give up. At Deadpool the wait to get your tix was at least 15 minutes, and the line for the ONE human being at the ticket stand was out the door. They HAVE to fix this, it's insane to have such a great technological achievement as this theater be totally stymied by a bad ticketing process. The only thing I can recommend is if you have a popular movie, go early and grab your tickets, then go eat or whatever...at that point you can just waltz in a minute before your movie starts, because you have reserved seats. Please, Marquee, fix this and I'll figure out a way to give you SIX stars, even though the max is FIVE...that's how great this place is otherwise.
