Dandridge Visitors Center, Tennessee, United States

Quaint Town
My husband and I stopped here to explore this quaint little town. The volunteers at the visitor center were knowledge and very friendly. We spent about 30 minutes here listening to them tell us about their rich history - Davy Crockett, Revolutionary Soldiers Cemetery, small free museum in their court house. Nearby is the Douglas Dam and Bush's Visitor Center. You can easily visit all 3 sites in one day.

Just Great!
Very nice little welcome center! An enthusiastic man helped us with some great historical details ( dh and I LOVE our history!) He sent us to the historical courthouse - glad he did! I loved the architecture & the Civil War & Davey Crockett artifacts! My husband is a retired LEO & he enjoyed chatting with the sheriff while I chatted with the sweetest local man who worked there! We both loved it!

Stop in!
Roger was working in the visitor center today and we found him to be an excellent ambassador for the town of Dandridge. He was friendly and helpful, providing us with quite a bit of information on the town and the area.
