    Great non race day experience
We have no NASCAR tracks where we are from so we were excited to finally see a track being we are new to watching NASCAR. We thought we would just be able to go to the gift shop and maybe find an opening to take a couple of pictures. We lucked out big time, a girl came out of the offices and asked if we had been down the the track. We weren't sure what she was talking about, then she proceeded to tell us that the gates were open and the track was available to go down to it. Once we walked through the gates and saw the entire track, we thought it looked a little small compared with what we have seen on TV and visualized. We did end up walking down all of the stairs and actually walking out on the track. We walked through the infield and went over to the starting line. We just tried to imagine actually being here for a real race. The curves here are not something I would want to drive on without no experience. After getting home and seeing them race here a month or so later was really interesting, knowing we were right there where everyone was.

    NASCAR race
We were lucky to be able to get tickets to see the race during this time of COVID-19. NASCAR was very strict on the number of people allowed at the track. You could only get tickets online before the race. When entering the track your temperature was taken and masks are required except when sitting in our seats. There was at least 6’ between groups. It was a great race at the great American Coliseum.
