    Don't Miss It!
    The beautiful carpets are a look back in the history of Iran. The artistry is amazing and the size of some of the rugs is mind boggling. There was a woman involved in weaving which gives a wonderful example of the labor involved in constructing these beautiful artifacts.

    Persian Carpet Art
    One of the real must see's of Tehran, many precious Persian carpet are held in this museum, The museum was designed by the last Queen of Iran, Farah Diba Pahlavi. The perforated structure around the museum's exterior is designed both to resemble a carpet loom, and to cast shade on the exterior walls, reducing the impact of the hot summer sun on the interior temperature.
