Small and beautiful lake for boat and peace lovers

Beautiful greenish blue water . One can opt for a boat ride as well which costs 20 gel for 1 hour . There are various eatables store at this site . This lake is beside vake park which is one of the beautiful parks of Tbilisi . Can be reached via ropeway ( 1 gel ) and Zipline ( 20 gel ) from vake park or by a car straight to the lake . There are 2 Zipline one which takes you to the turtle lake from vake park and another which hovers above the turtle lake .

Nature and relaxation
A Nice beautiful lake in a quiet place away from the busy city, it is quite relaxing and a good escape. There are few activities that you can do but just walking on the path around the lake is good enough, there were also people fishing and in good weather, it is possible to swim and rent a paddling boat. There is an expensive restaurant that I haven’t tried, the place is popular amongst locals and you will see a lot of local families there. It is included as a quick stop in some tours.

Beautiful and relaxing
The large beautiful lake is located on the Mtatsminda mountain and is a popular recreation spot. It gets its name from the many turtles that once used to live in the lake. A walking path goes around the lake. Paddle boats are also available for rent if you would like to go boating in the lake. There is a concert venue to one side of the lake and several restaurants, cafes and snack bars along the walking path. There is a sundial near the entrance to the lake. An open-air museum of ethnography is also located nearby. The entire area is surrounded by greenery and is cooler than the city below. Being away from the beaten path, it is also not very crowded making it a great place to relax, unwind and cool off during the hot summer months.
