Nice place to chill out!

Charvak is a good place to visit on a hot day in Tashkent. It is less than 2 hours by car, from Tashkent. There are a few activities taking place on the water, but the beaches are not sandy, or very clean. The air is however clean and fresh. A bit of trecking can be made around the lake. A good hotel where to stay there is Charos, but you need a car from there to the beach. I recommend it as a day trip, from Tashkent.

    A beautiful spot near Tashkent for
    Around an hour drive from Tashkent Lake Charvak is an excellent spot to visit for a day visit . Beautiful scenery and pleasant weather in summers . In winters it have got a different attraction & beauty with snow. Near Charvac just few minutes drive you reach "Bochka" town where many villas / farm houses are available for rent if someone wants to stay for few days . These house range from 100$ - 500$ per night depending on facilities and quality. Most of these houses have private swimming pools and savannahs. In summer the prices can get a bit higher. Furthermore, right on the Charvak there is a resort " Pyramids " with excellent views . In recent years the maintenance of "Pyramids" have declined. If looking for a resort I will recommend " Layner " resort around 30 minutes drive further up in mountains from Pyramids. It's a well kept property and have clean & comfortable rooms. Food is also good along with accomodating management. I will recommend anyone to " Grilled Trout " at Layner Resort.

    Blue
    A huge lake with stunning blue water is a sight to behold. The cool water is welcome on a hot day. It is frequented by thousand of visitors from far far away. They have beautiful wooden cubicles with day beds and seating which you can rent for the day. Lots of restaurants and ice cream stalls to keep you cool. A half day well spent Try to combine the tour to Charvak lake with a stop at the Chair car ride up the mountain. Another wonderful place for great photos.
