Anyone interested in Islam - this is a great place to learn

Even if you know very little about Islam and really want to have a first hand experience without any hassle, this is a great place. One of the only 2 similar institutions in Morocco, it gives you a first-hand presentation and explanation about the way Islam is studied and taught. The place, which is run by the local Waqf ministry, is surprisingly modern and open, you can stroll on your own and at your own pace and see as much or as little as you wish. The building, which belonged to one of the riches local families that left Spain a few centuries ago (Loukach is Arabized name of Lucas), did a magnificent renovation job. It is a real rare gem and highly recommended for those who have an interest in Islam.
