quick pitstop round this museum-half an hour was plenty! Roman pots and mosaics, but little else except perhaps for the committed Roman scholar.

    Great collection of mosaics
    This museum is free and has some great mosaics from Volubilis and elsewhere. We were alone in the museum and could enjoy the displays, including the outdoor garden with more mosaics.

    Ancient Excavations
    A brief walk from the old city towards to the Palace one will find the museum with an entrance fee of about DHS10 per adult. Most interesting to me was the almost intact and large size Roman era mosaic in one of the exhibits . There are other interesting finds. A brief walk from here is the older part of city ( not to be confused with the old Medina) well paved for tourists with limited vehicle access to some streets. The buildings around here have a Spanish feel to them in their architecture being quite different from the French era and style of Casablanca of an era gone bye.
