    Perfect for sauntering!
Wonderful historical area with a myriad of traditional wooden homes set along a tiny web of alleys. Really takes you back in time.

    Delightful Wooden Houses
Trog Baan Chin is a most unusual attraction: a narrow alleyway of old wooden houses in the southern part of the provincial capital of Tak. They will not appeal to all tastes, but if you are interested in vernacular architecture from Thailand, this alleyway will be a real delight. As of yet, there is no commercialisation at all. There are no guesthouses, souvenir stores or even historically themed restaurants. (However, there is one simple noodle soup place if you're hungry.) Expect to see a couple of dozen wooden houses and shops, with distinctive early 20th century characteristics. The style is an interesting mixture of Thai and Chinese.
