Great swimming opportunities

Actually getting wet jacuzzi style rather than swimming.I did find a spot right in front of one where the waterfall deposited. Some static swimming.Lovely place I only went to the falls,but to all of them the furthest a 2km hike through bamboo forest via clearly defined tracks.The lovely lady let me off of the tourist inflated fee of 100b and charged me the local 40b. 'I cycled here all the way from Bangkok my carbon footprint credit owes me' I protested.(and right too!) I gave her a note to hand to the Chief of Thailand's National Parks.Suggesting 'Falang' cyclist should always only pay the Thai rate. (Good green policy!). A great day out on the bicycle from Tak.Plenty of shade very few people,I imagine few/none during the week. Take sturdy shoes you don,t mind getting wet such as Keen sandals. Take some food and water from Tak morning market,although there is food/drinks there as you guessed. Go enjoy really pretty falls 4 of them and a nice flow through the forest/jungle.

jungle visit
if you want to visit the jungle this is a nice place to do so. A walk down the mountain to the big tree. You need a good condition.

Adjacent to Taksin Maharat National Park!
Lan Sang National Park is located adjacent to the Taksin Maharat National Park (actually, I'm not sure why they don't consolidate them into one). The park has some well-forested mountains and a nice waterfall. But, it's clearly not on the "A" list of Thailand's national parks.
