The great place to see sunrise
Before arrived the ocean, you need to walk a long way. But when you arrive at the sea you will surprise by the beautiful sunrise, the sunrise up slowly and the sea level is tinted the yellow and orange color with the sun. And the ocean is very clean, you can take off your shoes to feel the cold seawater stream through your toes, it's a great experience. But you need to be careful the stone is slippery. By the way, there have some toilets, they're clean. It's a great place you need to visit, it is suitable for friends, family, the couple.

Special geological feature of East coast of Taiwan
It's a perfect spot for watching sunrise and sunset. It's a small island around 22 hertares which composed of volcanic rocks and coral reefs. There is a bridge to connect Taiwan main island and Sanxiantai. Here is not a sand beach but cobbles all over the place. It's beautiful and definitely a must-see while you travel in Taitung County.

Make a brief stop here
Travel along the east coast road, you may plan to stop at here for about an hour to two. beautiful beach fulls of cobble stone, and an arch stone bridge that can loop to a small island for a little walk, trail takes about an hour, great scenic you can view to pacific and the east coast mountain. Toilet also provide at here.
