Great History Lesson
My wife is 1/64th Cherokee and was raised in the area. Good to be able to visit the Museum to get filled in on some historical facts that we were not aware of. So sad that so much land was taken and so many lives lost. Those actions can never be repaid. Cherokee alphabet with 85 letters, super interesting and to find out that the Cherokees were much more literate than Americans at that time. Easy to navigate the museum, well laid out. Elevator service worked well for my 91yr old father in law. Would recommend a visit. No cost is nice, but we did have to wear a mask.
